WHO WE ARE

Vision Care is an international relief organization dedicated to the prevention of blindness through our global projects and initiatives.

Vision Care is a member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), and participant of ‘VISION 2020’, a global initiative of the IAPB and the World Health Organization (WHO).
We work for the benefit of all people throughout the world who are suffering from vision problems, regardless of their race, color, creed, national origin or religion.

Vision Care has since conducted more than 25 Vision Eye Camps a year and has grown into an international non-profit organization serving 38 countries throughout Asia, Africa and Central-South America.

2018.02 5th Korean VCOM (Vision Care Ophthalmologist Meeting)

2017.03 Vision Care holds Photo Exhibition “Road to the Light – Africa” featuring Photo Artist Joseph Lee in 5 US cities.

2016.07 “Let’s Make a Brighter Africa” Vision Route Project (Campaign across 9 Southeastern countries of Africa)

2016.04 Established New York headquarter (NYC)

2015.11 200th Vision Eye Camp, Uganda

2015.11 4th Korean VCOM(Vision Care Ophthalmologist Meeting)

2015.01 Selected for KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency)’s NGO support project

2014.12 3rd Korean VCOM

2013.10 Established Vietnam branch office

2012.04 First eye camp in the US in Los Angeles, CA

2005.03 Registered as non-profit/NGO (Vision Care Service, VCS), Seoul
